Hello hello! I’m sorry about my lack of updates because since I’ve started a new neopets guild, most of my time has gone to working on the webbie and various layouts for the guild. Vanilla just wrapped up bishie week which was 6 days of 6 different layouts, each featuring a different bishie. I ended up making all the layouts myself because my co-owner is out of town on vacation, which brings me to an entirely different topic.

So, summer vacation.. What have I been doing, you ask? I have stayed at home and sat my butt on the computer. I’m not quite old enough to get a summer job, so it’s been pretty boring around here. My family did go to Houston for two days, though, and we visited the Moody Gardens in Galveston, and NASA Space Center. I’ll upload a few pictures I took soon. If you haven’t been to the Moody Gardens, they have 3 huge pyramids. There’s the aquarium pyramid, the rainforest pyramid, and the discovery pyramid. They also have a ridefilm theater, an IMAX theater, and boat rides on a replica of an old Mississippi steamboat. I was slightly disappointed with the lack of dolphins or manatees in the aquarium, because those are my favorite, but I enjoyed the seals!

NASA was pretty sweet, too. The starship gallery was really awesome, and they had samples of moon rocks as well as rocket parts. I went during the July 4^th weekend, so they also had a special Star Wars exhibit with interactive games which were pretty cool. I’ll try to upload a few pictures of this, too. Well, enough about my super /exciting/ summer vacation, I’d love to hear about yours, so please do leave your comments!

So this past month, I got myself hooked on Asian dramas, mostly Korean. After watching the hit series Boys Before Flowers, I found myself deeply in love with Kim Bum (awesome name, no? d:). And following my unhealthy obsession with him, Lee Min, Ho, and Kim Hyun Joong, here are the updates!

I finally got around to changing the website layout. It’s a simple layout featuring a character from the anime Pandora Hearts. I have never watched the series, but many people have recommended it to me, and I think I might just watch it. I really love the colors on this one because they’re not seizure-inducing. d: I would like some feedback on this layout, though, so please do leave your comments.

Another thing I wanted to say is that from now on, Chaotic Serenade will no longer offer neopets graphics. I will instead be taking custom requests, so if you would like a custom neopets graphic, please neomail my main account (chaoticserenade). From now on, CS will mainly be a design site along with a few select graphics and resources.

Now the part you’ve been waiting for, the updates!

In A Storm In My Best Dress, Fearless!

Hey everyone, Aurora here. (: I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! As you can see, we have a new layout. I used only two brushes and a few textures, but mainly it’s a simple blend layout. It features Taylor Swift, and the title is Fearless. I really needed a change from the dreary blue layout, and this will probably be up through February. I’ve already started on making another site layout. I’m going to try a vector layout, but so far, it isn’t looking so good. I did add some stuff which you’ll find below.
